It's a little scary to end the Food Lover's Cleanse each year (here's my last post on bonappetit.com): I go from knowing exactly what I should be eating for every meal to trying to wing it in the wild tempting world of fancy cocktail bars and new bakeries and delicious cheese shops. I might stray a bit, but back at home I'll keep most meals on the straight and narrower side, cooking, as I do on the FLC with whole grains, lots of vegetables and seafood. If you'd like to join me and see what's for dinner on my good nights, please join me here at this blog. I know as soon as I get back from skiing this Saturday that I have some roasted beets to reckon with. Stay tuned to see where they end up. Odds are on a soup, but you never know when a gratin might pop up.
And remember if you are looking for more inspiration, that Bon Appetit: The Food Lover's Cleanse will take you through the seasons with clean, vibrant flavors. If you missed the live feed of the free online Food Lover's Cleanse at bonappetit.com, you can find the whole program here.
